i am looking for headphones with good sound and i have come across these 2 for the bass head now what i want is bass that shakes your head and with sound quality that is very good not amazing but good i am looking to spend around 400 us  but i live in hong kong and i prices are a bit wired here they usually stock retail price

i listen to mostly dubstep and DnB
i also considered

Sony xb 1000 but i am scared the sound will be lacking
hfi-580

i have tried the
dj1 pros and it was ok and also the hfi 780 was ok all sounded similar
(they were in a store for long so i assume they were burned in)

i am a very big bass head
any other recommendation would be helpful

Thx

Pro900 is the end all be all headphone for bass-heads IMO. On a good amp the bass is out of this world, it hits so low and so hard, yet still the mids and treble remain completely seperated and clear.
Although I've never heard the DT770, FWIR I doubt it could be any competition for the Pro900. They are different leagues.

The DT770 is like the XB series. More subwoofer-y. They both have their place, but the Pro 900 has been the favorite for awhile...though I really want to hear the XB1000 as I've heard it's very good, and it just looks ridiculous.

DARTH BEYERS -- ITS NOT A MYTH.

--best rumble/subwoofer feel
--competes with pro 900s for bass king
--destroys xb series for bass volume
--does not sound like stock dt 770

edit: i personally like pro 900s better because i listen to a lot of neurofunk.  If you prefer 808s, hip hop, and low rumble, Darths will make you leave this site.
