Well, if the insides are not damaged, you can always re-shell them? as the neon blue shells are hard enough to protect the BAs and x-over.....but sorry, not sure how the overall damage is tho

Haha, sorry if I wasn't clear. I came into the office in the morning and the right iem is missing. That particular side had become fairly easy to disconnect from the cable, so I assumed it somehow made its way onto the floor and our cleaning service vacuumed it up. With not even knowing who we use to clean, it wasn't really worth investigating any further. And frankly I'd become a bit frustrated with the iem coming off the cable and having to replace the cable every year or two.

Picked up a pair of Noble 3s and love them so far.

Now if I see someone in our office with just a right Triple.fi in their ear there will be questions that need answering. :)

So often I've read about cable failure with the TF10's. I don't think looking for a cheap solution is the way to go. I myself have gone thru the original plus 2 fiio's. I finally got myself a used set of custom cables made by Headphone Lounge (HPL) 2 yrs ago and they've worked perfectly. TF10's aren't low-fi cheapo earbuds. If you owned a sports car, would you be looking for the cheapest tires available? Like any quality audio gear, TF10's scale well when used with other quality components. There are many who feel cables don't affect sound quality but there are other reasons like build quality and better materials that should be factored into the mix. For me it boiled down to spending a little money a bunch of times vs. spending more once!

I have gone through expensive cables also, how someone treats them makes a huge difference.

The Zee's cables are great, I got one of the ones that has the mic and controls for iphone and I love it. I plan on getting a Dark Lord and White Angel cables from them also. But since you can get a cable straight from UE I might try one of those. They look like an upgrade compared to the ones that came with my TF10's (no wire inside the ear loop)

Everyone always seem to ask about cables for the TF10's but can anyone recommend replacement tips? I know about the comply foam tips and they are ok for some but I'm looking for silicon replacement tips. I thought someone had mentioned that sony makes some that will work but wasn't sure.

I wasn't as impressed with the Sony tips as everyone else was but really like the Phonak Audeo tips a lot.

Well, if you ask me, I would rotate the selected silicon tips from my collection of IEMs.....say RE-400 bi-flanges,Meelec M6,M9 wide bores,Brainwavz tips (narrow bore) for example (to list few)....had ordered cheapo sony style ones last week....

I'm a little new to the audiophile level equipment, the TF10's are my first and only pair that I own, so I can't rotate between some others. Just don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a bunch of tips when I will only use 1 maybe 2 pair. I do enjoy the comply tips but I wear them alot at work and I have to take them out and put them back in constantly so the silicon ones work better for me.

You would probably want to go with the Sony "gel" tips that most people think are the best ones for the tf10. They are pretty cheap too.
