  Does this uber cable give a huge upgrade in sq for your 1p2 (or is it the Ref.1)?
If so, how would you describe the improvements?

I have tree different cable.1plus2 rsa balanced silver gold,ref 1 silver gold and uber.Uber is upgrade especially seperation and soundstage.Vocal is much clear.But musicality is much better with ref 1 silver gold.

They sound absolutely fantastic with the ZX2 (using silver coated copper 8N cable) sublime in fact, never heard better from a one box portable setup, but, this combination has made more costly setups (my second setup in my signature as prime example) sound quite mediocre...

Good, no, FANTASTIC in some ways, but detrimental in others.

 
I see now where things have gone pear shaped.  At CanJam London, you'll have to try the Uber cable.  Then you'll find yourself truly conflicted between the 1p2 and Layla.

The question lies on your cable not the connectors.  You need a balanced cable which has 4 separate wires in order to use a TRRS 2.5mm connector.  Otherwise you'll be short circuit your device, please note.
