I am looking upgrade my iem which is earsonics velvet v1 SO ı am confused right now , ı have been using velvet since 2014 and ı want to listening dynamic driver AND much more quality sound (
energetic , natural , referance , deep bass )

Just and just listening electronic music which are trance , vokal trance , melodic trance etc.

Hyla CE-5 or Tralucent Audio 1Plus2 or Lear lcm BD4.2 (custom)

Earsonics Purple. much much better than Velvet V2 (which should be better than V1)
Hyla CE have fantastic bass (the best I've ever heard) but there is an issue with mids. Don't know the other ones

Is there any news about Tralucent Audio Plus5.2 ? Price, release date, sound impression?

Hi just wanna put in a word for Cavan from Ranko .he came through and delivered my 1 plus 2.3.

Super cool of him to do that. Sound wise it's another level. Both 1plus2.3 as well as 5.2 are worth a listen.

Hey guys. I know this is a very old thread but I picked up a pair of 1plus2 with the silver cable..it’s actually the version that the cable is silver not black like I’ve seen in some pics. Anyways I’m loving how these sound. Specially when adding some power to them. I’m not very good at all that technical mombo jumbo but these things rock. They might not have the best resolution or hyper detailed but wow these are very emerging and emotional. Great dynamics. I picked these up at a good price and I was kinda nervous about people saying they can be peaky in the mid highs. Maybe I’m not really sensitive to that don’t know. These are becoming one of the best purchases in while for me. I’m loving these things. Among the earphones I have are the fostex te100 with effects upgrade cable.. highly underrated IEM imo. The FIBASS. S-EM9. among a few. These just rock is about all I can say. I’m definitely going to have check out some of the other offerings from tralucent for sure. Personally they definitely still hold their own. Happy listening!! Oh and the soundstage is great. Very big and wide but not enough where they sound unnatural..imo

The tralucent how it is with tera player? Anyone could explain how 26ohm tralucent is good with Tera that needs at least 80 ohm to show great amount of bass.

i think dynamic drivers are not greatly affected by output impedance compared to BA.

Just to update this thread and some folks here, as some of you may have guessed spkrs01 (Gavin) is no longer with Tralucent. Tralucent is with Ranko Acoustics now.

I still have my original 1Plus2, when was it I bought them, 1989??

I just bought a new copper cable for them from an Australian maker, behold the Owl Series - 'ROKA' from Aurealis Audio.

Tbh I've compared with Tralucents old cables (copper / pure silver) and believe this is better.

Anyway, just thought I'd drop a blast from the past before I exit again for another 5-years (this hobby is too expensive now)

Opened to anything Tralucent except Ref 1. Had these.
