I have a question for you all. I'd like to use sennheiser's captune for the eq with tidal on my tablet to my benchmark, but under the settings for streaming in captune, the highest quality is hifi, not master. Will captune still send 96/24 to the dac? I'm assuming because this is an audiophile app by sennheiser, but who knows. Thanks.

More marketing and obfuscation as seems to be the theme.
I would like to see some real answers to some of the questions brought about by some engineers that have dissected MQA.

On AS there was a thread with loads of MQA nfo, a bit less than 600 pages in total.

why is everybody scared of MQA? try it. if it sounds good, then it's good. if u don't like it don't listen to it again. I personally haven't heard it but I am curios to see what all the fuss is about

Great stage and separation in listening to TIDAL (HIFI) with the FiiO FH7 balance via UAPP over Bluetooth LDAC (990) with the ES100.
Much, much better than listening via the original TIDAL android player.
Source is Galaxy S10 (Exynos).

Technically, it's a solution looking for a problem. I wrote earlier, MQA was great in 1995 (before it was invented) when nobody had bandwidth. Here in good old 2019 it's hard to understand why anybody wants to compress audio. People stream netflix at 4K on their phones. I have more bandwidth than I know what to do with. I really don't need any compression on anything that goes in or out of my network. I have tidal hifi and a several MQA DACs. I haven't done any critical listening but I'm happy with the sound quality. It's just not that big of a deal. But I prefer DSD....

What you like others might not and vice versa, but it's good to have options and choose what one likes the most. The more ways to listen to music, the better!

I personally purchased a Mytek Brooklyn to try MQA full decoding versus not. I ended up at the result of "I suppose MQA full decode sounds more exciting, but I do not know if I prefer it over more conventional listening formats."

Which is a good result. You have a number of options to go with and that's a big plus.

Which version? I know that the Windows app will not let you paste with a mouse, but it accepts the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-V.

@Mp0wer,Does anyone know why Tidal doesn't allow copy and paste ?
alternatively, in case you wish to share a song you found on Tidal, and a direct/indirect copy-paste method is not an option, then you always have three other solutions:
You can copy/paste the url of the item into an email, text, etc. (right-click on a track>scroll down to 'share'>copy track link)
You can click on the Facebook button to share it via Facebook
You can click on the Twitter button to share it via Twitter
