UCSD (or any UC) is expensive for out-of-state residents.
Don't want to give University of California San Diego (UCSD) a try?
Wouldn't Out of State tuition bury our resident Panda in the sand?

Hopefully, but I am depressed because of the IRS
I need a 2012 tax return from the mom and pops but the IRS still hasn't processed it and the schools want it soon for max fin aid.
I can't get a copy and they want one!...so bad

Not sure if Moms & Pops prepared their own or had them professionally done by a tax professional. But, if the latter, here's the action you want Mother Dear to take. Contact the agent and explain the situation. The agent will be able to (should be able to) use their "Hot line" dedicated to enrolled agents and get that thing expedited since time is of essence.
I'm with warrenpchi, so Uconn it is!

Wait - wut? What do you need from the IRS? All you should need is a signed copy of the tax return from your parents. The IRS doesn't send you anything. Do you mean that your parent's tax preparer hasn't finished their return?
LOL, I was just about to say...
