That or they hired Precog.I think they're running out of ideas.
Any notes on how it compares to Cayin C9?I was also looking forward to hear this combo at CanJam NYC, but never got to it. Just spent a few days with it before sending it back, which means you are probably getting it next to demo? All Brise Audio products have this Japanese DIY-ish audiophile charm. They don't put too much emphasis into sleek and sexy, these are heavier-duty build cables with extra layers of shielding for the maximum transparency, bigger soundstage and imaging, zero interference, just pure audio experience regardless of extra heft or bulky heat-shrink connectors. And Tsunaragi amp is also rather basic looking. USB-C charging port on the back, volume pot on the front, 3.5mm and 4.4mm inputs (selectable with a switch), and 2.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, and chassis work like a one big heatsink.
Tsunaragi amp is suited better for IEMs, though it can drive more demanding headphones, but it required me setting LPGT LO to max voltage and pushing this amp high in volume while driving R70x (99dB, 470ohms). With iems, there was plenty of headroom, and I was also using Yatono 8W Ultimate cable and their Yatono-Mini Ultimate 4.4mm to 4.4mm short line cable (a thick boy!!!). Briefly tested it with Mentor Multiverse and RN6, and the vertical dynamics expansion reached the level I was never able to achieve with any portable DAP, even N8ii with P+ voltage boost. Another thing, it adds the texture to the sound, even to BA bass of MM, without coloring it. But the thing that impressed me the most was micro/macro-dynamics expansion, making other sources sound kind of compressed in comparison.
But like I said, this is not a slick portable cable or amp or the whole setup. Transportable? From my point of view, yes! DYI-ish looking? Absolutely! Can you call it portable? Well, you guys/gals probably have seen pictures from Portafes audio shows in Japan with some hardcore audiophiles carrying stacks of gear. So, portability will be relative to your perspective. And I think it's great there is an opportunity to demo this combo from Andrew/Musicteck.

Precog's 12t sucessor is the 4s? Makes sense. That or they hired Precog.
Maybe it matches or improves on U12t with 1/3 the drivers** at half the price? Just speculating of course, but that would be progress.*Stares in multiple 64 models*

*Edit* Just caught up on the threa
Literal case of reality being as weird as headcanon.
But precog had the A4S since release and he liked it.*Stares in multiple 64 models*

If it's a 4 driver with a DD, the M4 already exists. Its going to have to be impressive to beat thatMaybe it matches or improves on U12t with 1/3 the drivers** at half the price? Just speculating of course, but that would be progress.
**(It does have a DD, which gives it a head start at least)
Is anyone gonna give it a try ? it's with 2 Foster 9.7mm Dynamic Driver!
I thought the Alpha ti is a EST iem but turns out it has a Piezoelectric super tweeter, kinda rare for a superflagship
I tried it as well, feel like trailli with bass a bit more bass punch for me, the stock cable didn't get my attention as well until Anfernee made me try the combo with the sliver concept cable from Brise, But still I was hoping to get a deeper bass from alpha ti.I tried it at CanJam on 3 occasions...it didn't really grab me.
So Happy to hear this Daniel. And very happy for you to have the Cerebus back in your ears!Good news.
Shenzen Audio & SoftEars came through for me I am really happy with the professional and expedient service they provided. A+
It’s always good to tell a good news story.
No picture since the IEMs are in ears.
