I use this combo for the gym.
A pair of custom A12t for maximum comfort and secure. The cable is very thin and lightweight with zero microphonic. And of course Qudelix 5k is indispensable, the best bluetooth dac/amp in my opinion.
Curious if you guys use your audio gears during exercise or opt for more convenient options like airpods or beats.
Hifi music is about focusing on details and precision. During workout... My focus is on the particular exercise. So no need for hifi at all. I love my Sony XM4 IEM with my Samsung S22 Ultra via LDAC.
I had the pleasure of living in Seville for a few months, well over a decade ago now. Work takes me there every once in a while. It's a beautiful city, love the food and the rich history and traditions.

LOL, I initially thought "watch" was a verb there.
Does anyone know if it's possible for a new DAP to have a technical issue that would allow it to function but makes it sound much worse than it's supposed to?
I got a Dethonray DTR1+ early this week, and it sounds awful. Like I may prefer listening to my phone awful. I've owned and enjoyed the Honey H1, so I know the company is legit, but I can't understand how this thing sounds so bad. I've given if 4 days of listening to make sure its not some kind of adjustment to a different sound causing me to not like what I'm hearing.
I guess the other option is a counterfeit item, but that seems unlikely since it's from one of their authorized dealers.

I tried with four IEMs and all gave sub-par results. A really muffled, grainy, undetailed sound with poor extension. The line out has more clarity, so I'm wondering if there could be an issue with the amp? Is that even a thing that there could be a lose connection or something internal that could degrade SQ?

I can only speak from DTR1 Prelude experience since I reviewed it before, and not sure if anything has changed with "+" version. Due to a high noise floor and higher output impedance, the tonality was off and it was hissing with many sensitive lower impedance multi-BA and hybrid IEMs. The problem was resolved with iEMatch

If you've done a proper burn in, then it certainly sounds like it's defective. Op amp busted, amp is fried, could be so many things. If the LO is great, not just slightly better, then it could be problems with the HO in.

Yeah all of my IEMs I used with it are DDs or planers so its not that. Anyway I have an email in to Anson at Dethonray and lets see what he says. Amazon.jp's return policy is not nearly as generous as Amazon US, so it might be tricky to return the unit at no cost. Lets see.
