Just finished the first part of season 4 of Stranger Things with the family only to hear Philip Glass and what a choice…. It’s been way too long since I listened to this album. Amazing…. It was actually distracting me from the show. I wore out this cd back in the day along with Songs from Liquid Days

Knee 1 is sure to put a smile on your face if you haven’t heard it before but has a very interesting story behind the “lyrics”

On the hunt for a 4.4mm / MMCX cable for my upcoming TZ700 which is supplied with a 3.5mm and 2.5mm. I'll need something without the curved ear guides and also very light cable... anyone know the brand 'Nobunaga'? - looking at a potential option on Amazon Japan - HERE

Or indeed any other suggestions please?

You can also remove the heat shrink making the hook. Just choose a flexible cable and you will be ok. I did that on my old ALO Gold16

Nobunaga is pretty popular here in Japan, mostly because of their wide range and affordable price

Some cables I'm currently looking at which doesn't have heatshrink

The default cable for TZ700 was made by onso, and they offer some other models with 4.4mm plug with basically the same MMCX connector

Thanks guys, I've dropped a message to Doctor Juggles and might just grab one of the cheaper options on Amazon for now.

@ranfan - I saw the Onso cables also on Amazon, they look very like IE900 or IER-M9 stock cable so certainly a good option too.

It never ceases to amaze me how sometimes the smallest, simplest and (often) least expensive devices are disproportionately valuable in this hobby. This little guy is easily one of the best audio purchases I've made to date, at any price. I've only had it for a few days, and it's already paid for itself ten times over. How easily basic yet advanced functionality like this can be baked into each and every DAC worth its salt nowadays.

Chromecast Audio. Now I can stream lossless hi-res music (up to 24/96) from my Plex server (or Tidal, or UAPP) over my local Wi-Fi network via optical to the Sony TA-ZH1ES. Why Google discontinued this ingenious little device is beyond me.

I wonder if this works with the I2S port on a Holo May?

Hmm, interesting, possibly - if the new Chromecast supports I2S? Chromecast Audio has no HDMI, only optical out via the 3.5mm port.
I'm talking about Chromecast V3, which has an HDMI connector. Probably the successor, this one seems to be widely available.
