It is really good. I was using the index last night to catch up on people’s thoughts and impressions.Did some final touches on the opening page of the thread and re-organized the index. Have a look and tell me what you think-- open for suggestions/feedback.

Impressive. Soon, you will need an index for the index.Did some final touches on the opening page of the thread and re-organized the index. Have a look and tell me what you think-- open for suggestions/feedback.
Congrats on both the U12t and RU6.I found myself some pretty good personal advisors around that big water bottle for sure! Big shout out to especially (though not restricted to) @Mehran and @HiFiHawaii808 for the RU6 plug and @RTodd for sharing his musings on the potential follow-up. But really, same as with the U12t decision it's really the dynamics within the group that makes me lean a bit more towards a certain side, while the other side wouldn't necessarily have been worse at all.

More than anything I hope you'll love them both.
RU6 has taken the place of my DAPs. I'm not going to buy any new DAPs unless it features an R2R DAC. It's that good IMHO.
And with U12T I think you made a wise and solid choice. It tops a lot of ranking lists, or is at least somewhere near the top for many.
I agree. What I really liked about the Index is you can easily find the entire discussion of a topic. In the past, you need to google it and hope to find it.It is really good. I was using the index last night to catch up on people’s thoughts and impressions.

Huge FOMO with all of this RU6 talk but I'm going to exit 2021 with a final act of restraint and hold off!
restraint
Never heard that word before...had to look it up.
There's no risk mate! MusicTeck is only sending out on Jan 2nd!Huge FOMO with all of this RU6 talk but I'm going to exit 2021 with a final act of restraint and hold off!
Having said that there's a good pre-order price in the UK:

Honestly if you have the n6ii Ti I imagine you've already got a better version of the RU6 in DAP form.
My brother is asking for the next step after burning in his headphones. Anyone?

Yeah you are absolutely right - no need, leaving aside want!

So 2021 is not yet finished... I can add a real kick in the face in there with IE900... Stealth coming in thursday there is still time to get my head turned upside down!
Note that those are very tricky in terms of tips... those impressions only true with my custom silicon tips
Even ordered this to really get the best fit :

Now I do know what you guys were talking about... this shows how it takes more than a few minutes to grasp an IEM... especially this one.
The bass on that track on IE900 the richness of the nuances in the drums is just jaw dropping... I feel like I can touch the textures of the drum... and the double bass... eerie realism and feeling of sharing deeply with the artist... wow! This is the best portrayal of that track I have ever heard... and I just spent days with the EXT which is no slouch. It's not as fast punchy bass but a more textured and realistic bass than the EXT, heck it's a more textured bass than anything I have heard, period.
Anyone who didn't loose their jaw at IE900 bass performance had the wrong tips, the wrong source or something.
This is elite bass level.
Not a basshead IEM that slams in your face, but the IEM with bass that will just sound right and real and nuanced like the interpretation was lost on other gear...
This is a special special IEM for sure... there is no distorsion whatsoever...
I left this one burning in all afternoon and now this... I suspect this will only get better.
It only has 24hours or so on it. I am leaving it 24/7 for a week and we'll see.

@Ace Bee - your enthusiasm for IMR led me to take a further look at their range. Interesting products - I see the below 'Avalon' is a DD, EST, and BC - anyone tried this?
