Looks like Monarch. It’s in his signature too.

Hmmm, didn't catch that, but yeah, there is no mention of the ADLC driver, just a "custom 10mm dynamic driver". I am curious about the "deeper and more refined mid-to-low frequencies" though. My curiosity is piqued however the more I read about it the more I'm seeing that it's really more an AK product than a CFA product and based on the wording of the marketing it seems that CFA has not allowed them the use of their proprietary 10mm ALCD DD driver and the Solaris X instead contains a more generic DD as found in Polaris II and Honeydew. This has basically taken it out of the realm of blind buy for me and I'll eagerly await impressions before moving further.

Relative to what I wonder...the mid-low frequencies on the two Solaris variants I owned (and the Dorado for that matter) are about as deep and refined as I've ever heard.

Hopefully there will some reviews/impressions coming soon. In the meantime I gotta stop watching this video - https://fb.watch/6rnRolEHOV/Relative to what I wonder...the mid-low frequencies on the two Solaris variants I owned (and the Dorado for that matter) are about as deep and refined as I've ever heard.

It's one fine looking IEM that's for sure.
What I'm really curious about is if it's the same DD driver as in Honeydew as I've heard from folks like @mashuto that the driver in the Honeydew doesn't produce bass as tight or well controlled as does the driver on the Dorado & Solaris. I heard similar claims about the bass on the Polaris II. I'll be especially curious to hear from some CFA vets how the bass on the AK Solaris stacks up against the bass on the CFA Solaris.

Looking forward to your impressions on Honeydew.
Same. There hasn't been a proper tracking update since it hit Canada and I'm hoping to have it maybe tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
The Hyla TE-5B to my ears sounded deep and hit really hard in the bass department. It's very enjoyable for any basshead in my opinion. I wonder what do you think of its lower frequency? And if I may ask, why did you decide to sell it?Hmmm, didn't catch that, but yeah, there is no mention of the ADLC driver, just a "custom 10mm dynamic driver". Christmas In July came a day early:
It's serial number is in the 13xx, just 22 diff from my Cascade... show's how late to these things I am I guess... actually, I'd rather think that it's proper due diligence, and besides it's A$300 cheaper than it was at the start of this year, WIN!

Sweet!
Sorry for the repost. I shared this on Reddit and someone asked me to rank them, after which I came up with following list (based on personal enjoyment):
- Isabellae
- Elysium
- Dorado 2020
- IER Z1R
- Andromeda 2020/MW10
- Solaris SE
- VE8
- Spark
- Bravado MKii
- MEST
- Nio
- 3DT
Afterward for something to do I added the original listed cost of each IEM next to it in $US:
1) $600
2) $2500
3) $1100
4) $2000
5) $1100
6) $1800
7) $2200
8) $1500
9) $900
10) $1300
11) $1800
12) $300
Relative to my own enjoyment there doesn't seem to be much of a connection to cost...and I'm kind of thrilled that my favorite IEM right now only cost $600. It gives me hope for the future lol

AND at such a reasonably attainable price. Still waiting for Andrew/MusicTeck to receive them. He says shipping next week hopefully.
