It’s funny thinking about other sets when I’ve honestly everything I could possibly want already at my disposal - each time I listen to Camelot for example I’m reminded of how it’s still my benchmark IEM - I’ve heard more impressive sets in various technical aspects, but the balance in Camelot has yet to be surpassed for me over a year later… can’t help but think of lyrics from the brilliant ‘Enjoy the Silence’ by Depeche Mode.

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms 🎵
Let me counter with:

I just can’t get enough
I just can’t get enough

I actually did exactly this with Alter Ego and the Beat Audio Orbit Saga 8W ($7.2k USD).

Ah! The poll...

This is my top 5 of IEMs I'd love to demo (again):

1. Noble Onyx (will trigger if I can somehow get a tighter bass)
2. 64 Audio Volür (might trigger if I can clean up the low end, make mids a but more open, and add some air all around)
3. Vision Ears Aura (but too late to the party or so it seems)
4. Fitear Creator
5. Oriolus Monachaa
5b. Vision Ears VE10 (might trigger if I can clean up the low end and make treble shine a bit brighter)
5c. Noble Spartacus
5d. Melodic Artification Alter Ego
5e. Lime Ears Terra
5f. Craft Ears Omnium
5g. 634ears LOAK TX-02 (not familiar with the brand but after the rave reviews and this being a new TOTL single DD, why not?)

drftr
5a-g? That's cheating Joop 😂

It's not official until you pair it with BLON
Which would y’all rather own XE6 or RN6
Rn6 but I'm biased. I've never heard the Xe6, but it seems to warm for me from all the comparisons.

For the sake of the survey (Don't really have anything since I don't CJ)
1. Aura, VE house sound doesn't jive with me, but that timbre.
2. Triton/ Whatever it ends up being. Empire doesn't really line up with my current preferences at the moment. But I got a thing for them.
3. Monachaa, the local salesperson @emdeevee says its good and keeps mentioning Anni in relation to it.
4. Volur, I keep hearing people relating it to U12t. Given my M4 is what I consider U12t with a DD in custom from
5. Storm LE. Been waiting for the RE and seeing more volume hit the second hand market to try it. But given the faceplates so far and possibly higher price tag.

This brought me back to my 5th Grade and the How-to-make-every-word-shorter frenzy. Those were the days.

I was actually juggling multiple things at the time so

I don't have the Illiad, but I did get a Perseus at CJ Dallas...

Still one of my favorites, and such a unique presentation!

You shut your mouth!
How can you say I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved just like everybody else does.

Immediately, the soundstage becomes immense and there are oodles of detail from everywhere. It’s one of the most impressive things I’ve ever heard.

I also tried the Beat Audio Cyclone 8W and Billow MK2 4W, and there was a small technical jump between those. There was a much larger leap from Billow MK2 to Orbit Saga 8W.
I’m tempted by the billow II 8W, just not sure if it will be an upgrade from the Cleo II Octa?
