I'm not particularly interested in comparing them if I'm honest, and after reading @twister6 impressions it basically lines up exactly with how I heard the Ti relative to the OG (from memory).

I've had an obsession with the Traillii Ti aesthetics ever since it was announced late in 2022. I just want to spend more time with them and have a nice session without needing to blast my ears in the process.

Now we just pray I don't get an emotional attachment to them and feel like I need to own them. 😅

Edit: okay nvm I have an OG coming as well, so I will get to compare them.
I’m excited for your comparison! As for the design, it’s very polarizing some people hate it some people love it I personally much prefer the OG shell but that’s just me

Yes, it is in regards to a slight adjustment for those multiple layers of metal on the faceplate.
oh fantastic. I know the aesthetic part is subjective, but I found them awkward looking. Also they just didn't have a nice feel to them tactilely, and they seemed like an extra expense that could be saved as well.

Yeah I've always loved the simplicity and elegance of all titanium looking audio products. I know it's quite boring in the grand scheme but to me it's timeless.

I'll just leave this here. The most beautiful (and beautiful sounding) 64 Audio IEM I've had the pleasure of owning. Review coming soon.

I love the smooth and rich sound of the N8.

My only CIEM.

Was disappointed with the original faceplate design so recently shelled out for a change... I guess looks do matter for me as well 😊

Great thing about this hiby is you can boost it more with a dongle like this:

Are we pimping R3II now?

Still good battery life even with this combo, but the sound is better. Much worse ergonomic though.

Alex, you wrote the price went up, but this isn't a replacement of the OG, right? It's just a new project that lives alongside the OG bird. If I'm not mistaken the price for the OG didn't go up.

drftr

Just for clarification, I changed that to "higher price" in my review :) But yeah, the original Traillii JP went through price increase from $6k to $6.6k.

Damn that looks 🔥! What does something like that set you back?

Reallly? That looks corny as hell. The whole thing has to be satirical.

I mean seriously? Someone has to be taking the piss here. This is literally their copy from that link

"Our 12 core cables used certified 99.99% Gold or Silver giving the best sound SQ delivered fast to the IEM."

OH crap, all this time I've been getting my music delivered too slowly to my IEM's! I gotta get on this!

I tried both. I found the OG shell pressured my ears over a longer period of listening time. The TI shell is really very comfortable over a longer time period like 2 hours. But overall the sound on the TI is improved in bass, mids and treble. All personal opinion.

We care about feedback from all points of view on all things, especially aesthetics! Thanks!
