Must be departing from Nanaimo ferry terminal to arrive at Horseshoe Bay.
Safe travels.

I love watching the ferry’s wake while crossing strait of georgia.

Gathering some stuff for you lol.
I love it. I need to show this to my wife to show her that there are plenty of people out there sicker than me.

Finally getting some time to focus on the Cayin with my Traillii (that I normally pair with a DX300). This little RU6 is a magical device. There's a very ethereal organic tone to the sound that isn't there on my DX300. The DX300 puts on a little more weight for the bass and gives me more microdetail, but the RU6 just has a glow to its midrange. Hard to put into words but these are early impressions so I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually.
I am with you. Love both RU6 and DX300.

There are worse kinds of sickness.

I still can't believe that @tgx78 sprung the IE900...this means that come Thursday I'll have heard just about every 2021 IEM south of $2K that I'm interested in. Feeling blessed.

Isabellae + RU6 is such a nice relaxing listen before bed...the perfect tonic to a long somewhat stressful day.

I love that you are discovering these artists. I feel so jealous! Neil young is one of my all time favs as it reminds me of my
Dad.

My favorite album
Is “Harvest” not to be confused with “Harvest Moon” which is also an amazing album. He is a terrific song writer.
Growing up, my dad had a fair amount of affection for Western vocalists - Pete Seeger, Harry Belafonte, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Jim Reeves, John Denver, Julio Iglesias, etc. I wasn't highly into them, but I liked some of their songs. Little Boxes, Jamaica Farewell, Adios Amigs, He'll have to go, Hey - these are some of them.

However, I truly started to connect with Western music after I was introduced to Linkin Park. That started my exploration of western music. Alternative rock is what drew me in. And it wasn't until a few years ago I started to vibe with classic rock, and discovered Queen, Fleetwood Mac, etc. After that, now in my 30s, I found myself drawn to the country genre, and is absolutely in love with exploring Bob Dylan, Elvis Prisley, Neil Young, the likes.

I of course still love the new gen music, progressive rock, metal, alternative, post...but the classic and country rock - they have a different flavour. They make me just kick back and relax. They just sound so grounded and soulful. Not to mention that their recording quality is outstanding, which only adds to the immersion factor.

Cool. Tell us how it sounds? That pairing looks so cool. How tubey does it sound?
The BA300S works surprisingly well with the RU6. No noise or any noticeable sound degration. Adds a touch of tube warmth but not overly so. I was really curious what R2R would sound like when paired with tube amp and I think this met my expectations. I'm very satisfied. It mostly retains the character of the RU6 but gives you all the tubey goodness along with it.

Through the RU6 by itself is like having a original glaze Krispy Kreme doughnut. With the BA300S in the chain is like adding extra glaze on that doughnut along with some warm maple syrup, or honey or whatever.

IE900 (EQed) = totally hypnotizing.
Cannot believe what I am hearing from this tiny thing.
With some well recorded music, I feel like I am there at the venue.
Transparency is off the chart great. Holy cow.

No surprises.. I used to be one of the biggest Sennheiser fanboyz here. At one point in time, I used to own 3 sets of HD800s just to mod them separately to fit my daily mood. :)
