The only reason they would let it go is if they didn't know about it. I worked in marketing in a Fortune 5 company and I have worked directly with Disney as a supplier. You may not be aware of just how ruthless they are as a company and how much they care about brand attributes like the customer experience and their trademarks.Eh... agree to disagree. This isn't Sony or Apple, it's a small boutique company that produces IEMs for hobbyists and not the masses. Disney would never find out lol. Regardless, if UM wanted to avoid anything they could just release different colors and not call them anything, it's not like Disney owns the rights to the colors.

I do. It's on burn in duty right now. Out of the box very smile educing bass, can't say too much elsewhere with any certainty. I have a feeling if I keep it its going to be another specialist. I am not so keen on the absent lower mids and hot lower treble, but it could be a nice flavor to have. The treble was really lacking in resolution but getting better, it sounds. You have an IER Z1R now? How's that going?
I'm going to wait to test on RS8, when I get it, as that may be a better suited pairing than N8ii. R01 already sounded better clarity wise as its not asking as much resolution wise of Z1R. But it's a fairly big step down in power. Z1R drinks up the juice.
I really like the DD super tweeter. It's aluminum like Eden and has a similar treble air to it. Vocals are coming across in a similar (exquisite DD) manner. Might be worth keeping for that unique detail alone, we'll see.

Didn't forget about you getting these, good to hear they've finally arrived. Actually in a similar situation to yourself, looking for TWS for my wife, she's got very small ear space and I think XM4 might be pushing it. Think I'll take her to an audiologist for impressions and see if these guys can make her a custom....Just got these in yesterday. It took 12 weeks to get them made even though they are 3D printed off of .STL files. These are the M5 TWS Custom from ADV.
https://www.adv-sound.com/products/m5-tws-custom
I bought these because I wanted to get a custom IEM for my wife and what she really wanted was a TWS solution. She is not an audiophile, so function and fit are way more important to her than SQ. In other words, just like 99.9% of the rest of the world. Anyway, since I had a Custom .STL on file with ADV already, I took the plunge. The website says the production time is 12 weeks and that is exactly how long it took. I have been listening to them most of the morning and I can say that I really like them. They have a neutral, reference oriented signature that sounds good with all music in my library. And, it does not sound like your traditional Bluetooth set like an Airpods Pro or Sony XM4 or XM3. Typically, the biggest problem I have with Bluetooth is the bass can sound bloomy or rubbery. Bass is very controlled. and the signature is balanced. The FR curve looks to be heavier on the treble than bass, but I hear decent bass and some sub bass rumble due to the black background due to superior isolation. These sound quite a bit better than APP or XM4. So, if you need a TWS and have fit problems like my wife does, I would recommend the ADV M5 tws custom.
What's the bt spec in these before I go check, aptx HD or LDAC in them?

Disney threatened to sue some daycares here because they had names & pictures like some of their caricatures. Disney does not play around when it comes to their copyrights they go after anyone.Eh... agree to disagree. No LDAC unfortunately. Everything is on the product page I linked above. It even has the frequency response curve and user manual. Pretty decent consumer product company. But, their delivery times for customs is too long. Not sure why they take so long. The good thing about ADV is they create .STL files off of your submitted impressions. That's how I got them for my customs. I got an extra set of impressions done at Empire Ears when I got my Custom LX and sent them to ADV. So, I knew they were done correctly for CIEMs.Didn't forget about you getting these, good to hear they've finally arrived. Disney and Nintendo, probably two of the world's most touchy legal departments.Disney threatened to sue some daycares here because they had names & pictures like some of their caricatures. Disney does not play around when it comes to their copyrights they go after anyone.
I think you have the sound profile nailed in this description. It has some great strengths and some great weaknesses as well. Once you mitigate the weaknesses, it is a world class set. Sounds like you made it past the fit. That's the biggest hurdle. Recessed mids and sharp and thin treble can be addressed with a warm source. The Z1R scales up better than any IEM I have heard. It sounds glorious with the 1ZM2. With my tube amp, it's even better. Out of the box, the 3 things that stand out to me about the Z1R is the epic bass quality, the huge stage and the clarity and excitement of the signature.I do. It's on burn in duty right now. I agree, Z1R is with WM1Z and RS8. I look forward to hearing it with M2 and compare all three, with Z1R as the common denominator.I think you have the sound profile nailed in this description. Regardless, I don’t think UM is stupid enough (or are they?) to blatantly rip off Disney. Releasing different colors and letting us call them what we want would be a different thing though.
There is no problem releasing the colors of the infinity stones and having us talk about them in the way we are. It's just if they use the words "Infinity Stones" in any corporate literature, Disney will come down hard on it as soon as they find out about it. They are willing to fight until the company goes bankrupt defending the copyrights and trademarks.Regardless, I don’t think UM is stupid enough (or are they?) to blatantly rip off Disney. HD will do fine, tbh I doubt she'd notice the difference between SBC and aptx!No LDAC unfortunately. Everything is on the product page I linked above. I heard it sounds great out of an Apple Dongle.

Speaking of Fourté’s and Z1R’s I’ll be posting additional comparisons of the Blanc with the IER-Z1R, SK, and SM very soon.I do. It's on burn in duty right now.
