Gosh, you’re so bad for my wallet… but yeah, I’m pretty much working my way to get a shielded one. Shameless plug for sale of my FT, pls pm :)
Sorry. For me, with this change I was able to upgrade the cable on Odin to FT. Trickle down cables.

I have tried both, and instantly took U6T out of my ears. They sounded boxy to me maybe I didn't gave the pair enough time. Duo is something I liked instantly. Open, Spacious, good bass. I would go for Duo eyes closed.
Different ears hear things differently, case in point here.

It's a little while since I sat down with both U6t and Duo, but I found them far more similar than different, and the U6t not 'boxy' in any way at all. The Duo's DD bass driver makes it sound a little warmer and more natural in the bass, but the semi-open design, and lack of APEX modules was a deal-breaker for me.

Since adding the A12t to my collection, I can say for sure the U6t really is a kind of scaled down version, with a slight increase in bass emphasis (depending on APEX module), and with decreased resolution.

YMMV of course.

btw, this is page 1991, easily the best year in modern music history.

1968 and 1984 are a little miffed with your choice.
A lot of great albums came out in 1972.
Some of them;

Harvest
Close To The Edge
Eat A Peach
Ziggy Stardust
Machine Head
Pink Moon
Super Fly
Roxy Music
Caravanseria
Europe ‘72
The Harder They Come
Return To Forever

Yes, keep going until I recognize a song. The 1990s was the most forgettable decade for music since Bach.

There has been some discussions around cable rolling today. I thought why not I'll compare what I have available.

Changing XE6 stock to Trailliis 1960 (Played on the XE6). 1 hour of testing.

Low End - This was the most noticible difference
-Mid bass is thickened up by 15%
-Sub bass quantity is increased to a distracting level on Jojis "Dancing in the Dark"

Mids:
- I noticed on Lanas Summertime Sadness female vocals thicken up a little too much. This was already a weakness on the XE6. This further exaggerated that.
-Upper mid range is pushed up.
-I don't notice more resolution. I can however hear more artifacts on poor recordings. This reminds me of pushing the contrast up on a photograph on Adobe Lightroom.

Treble:
-There was a tighter, slightly faster decay. Percussion hits are better articulated.

Soundstage:
- Up to 10% wider soundstage
-Loses vertical height. Shallower depth to the sound stage.

Conclusion: There was a difference, enough to the point where it was distracting. There were some qualities I liked better on the 1960s but overall I preferred the stock on XE6. I need to go back and try XE6 stock on the Traillii to strengthen my observations but for now I am going to chill out and browse Head-Fi.

Firstly, they’re albums. Secondly, you’re gonna have to hand in your audiophile badge for that post.

Where do you get a badge, is there a test?

Anyway we all have music we are passionate about, perhaps to the exclusion of other music.
There was great music in the 90s, there is great music in the 2020s and it just keeps going. We can listen to the past and musicians will quickly talk about their inspirations, all we have to do is give everything a chance.
To me that is part of what a badge could mean.
