Hi all. Just received the Solitaire P today. I was unsure about getting it as a couple of friends recommended against it, but I got a decent deal and it was on my long term list so…….

Maybe because I always wanted something from T&A for my 2-channel system, but always felt they were too expensive

Will let you know what I think.

Yeah, growing up close to Chicago, there was a lot of Wax Trax happening.
Yes there certainly was! I recall seeing Front 242 at the Riviera in 1991, and Ministry once or twice in Campaign.

I need find an excuse to go back to Chicago to visit you guys 😉

Don't forget the Metro/Smart Bar. A lot of action there back in the day.

I’m considering getting my new HE6 determinate to 3.5mm so I can use it with normal cables.

Would love some feedback from any who can offer it.. 🙏

Can you recommend any?
Use google I’m in Canada, ton of options locally. I have used double helix cables in Texas. But premium product and bucks, long lead times

Norne Audio, just write him an email with your requirements

Thanks guys. I’ve ordered from DHX and Norne haven’t yet, good ideas both.

Still debating if to determinate. Did this with my L3000 and so happy to be using 3.5mm cable directly to it. But there’s some risk obviously.

Many thanks!

I think Trevor at Norne will make adapters of the "pigtail" variety, but not sure about making the super mini adapters. Like @Whazzzup, I use the mini's from DHC, but they are expensive and take forever to get. Really high quality though!

Yea he does quality stuff!
(I have a short XLR/6.35 adapter from him; not to mention some cables)

a customer struggles to find something in a grocery store and walks up to a terminator, where's the milk?

AISLE B BACK
Saw Terminator in the theatre in Chicago in 1984 with some Navy buddies while I was stationed there. Good times. :)
