+1. I have a Brother label maker for this, which helps a lot.
I too have a Brother label maker...which makes us Brother brothers.

Is that a @L0rdGwyn designed DAC?Listening to Caldera this morning with my recently revamped DAC. Shopping for umbilical connectors as I'm rebuilding my main headphone amp for the third time with the power supply in a separate chassis. Third try is the charm!
Is that a @L0rdGwyn designed DAC?
(he asks as he wipes drool off of his keyboard)
Hello,Yeah it is, a NOS PCM63 DAC with a tube output stage. I recently changed the line output transformer and the top plate though, which was a nice upgrade. Orange top plate adds a nice warmth and the new transformers look good.
Hello,
will there also be a Dac from you on DiY basis or not?
Would be nice if so.
Now that you're selling a commercial amp, maybe there'll be a commercial dac in the future? No plans for that, sorry.
DAC to the Future? Now that you're selling a commercial amp, maybe there'll be a commercial dac in the future?
DAC to the Future?
or since Aegis is a mythical breastplate (protection) maybe the Dac's name would be a mythical sword.
That does look stunning.Yeah it is, a NOS PCM63 DAC with a tube output stage. I recently changed the line output transformer and the top plate though, which was a nice upgrade. Orange top plate adds a nice warmth and the new transformers look good.
Well never say never but designing a DAC, even a relatively simple one, is a whole different ball game from a single ended tube amp. So I won't say it'll never happen but, again, no plans lol.
... and individually, a Brother brother from another motherI too have a Brother label maker...which makes us Brother brothers.
