We've been tossing this idea around for awhile, so I thought I'd go ahead and get it started.
If you're looking for amp recommendations for your new ( or not so new) ZMF, this is the place.

Kindly add photos of your tube, tube hybrid or solid state amps, comments, questions, recommendations, impressions, tube rolls, cables too and anything else amp related for ZMF headphones, and of course photos of your lovely ZMF headphones are most welcome also. Please try to add the name of your amp as well as some thoughts on how it sounds with your ZMF for future searches and reference.

Have fun!

Some tube p0rn to get us started.

On the left is the SET amp, Aegis.
In the middle is The Glacier Airmid OTL.
DAC on the right.
Cayin IHA 6 on left, 2nd row.

EDIT: Here's a link to a compiled list of dream amps for ZMF headphones. @goldwerger will be adding amps to the list as the months and years go by.

This list doesn't include unobtanium amps such as the Glenn OTL or Airmid, both of which I've owned and are killer with ZMFs.

It's a Tung Sol 5998. It and the Chatham 6SA7 are my favorite power tubes in it to date.

The 5998 is hard to beat for sure.
