4 vented BAs! Fingers crossed it's of decent quality too.

This is Legend with switches 000 (vocal mode). Atleast from the graph, in this mode, it will probably have some Penon 'romance' in the mids.

mmm not much impressed with this graph... also if I don't believe in graph totally 'cause they don't say the full story... finger crossed for other switch settings.

Fingers crossed as well! But if we forecast, Penon is already musical, fluid, dynamic (very pleasant), very addictive.
And if we add a little more technicalities across the entire range, lift the treble a bit, add little sparkles without exceedingly bright, NOT overcooked.
On top of those, a little Deeper sound field, thereby having a little bit more of layering and the end result - a better 3d holographic imaging.
Then the LEGEND name should be befitting...
The perfect iem...

Soon is the word. Wouldn't surprise me if it will be next week. Expect release any day now.

I will get my set maybe Monday. Will let you all know it it is out of the box. Can't wait.
Just got word that mine have shipped so will hopefully be with me by the end of the week. Really looking forward to these. I have a feeling they are going to be pretty special.

Ya vocals are gonna be stupid on these and I mean raise the hair on your neck crazy. I can tell just by what Penon is using for mids drivers. 4 high end Sonions. I bet it will image like nothing else they have made before too. Excited in deed.

No doubt Penon has good tuning, just going to be a question of whether they can compete in the price bracket. Lot of big hitters up there.

Either that or the Globe. Warmth, detail, midbass punch. However I haven't heard both so maybe someone else could help out here. The H40 might be a bit more punchy.

I now have the Final A4000 which I like quiet a lot. Just looking for a little bit more warmth and more mid bass punch. Is the ISN H40 the one for me ?

The Orb might be your new friend.
There's no doubt the bass (mid bass without bass bleed) and warm engaging mids here are excellent with smooth treble - especially if your treble sensitive.
This could be the pair for you.

I upgraded the tips to Final type E frosted (bottom row) to retrieve the most mids detail
I could gain.

The orbs are tuned for very long listening sessions, they are comfortable and isolate very well, I sometimes use them for commute - noise out, music In.

What's the difference between the Orb and the Globe? For a company that has only a few IEMs out there, these two seem to be doing a lot of the exact same things--one or two BAs, DD for bass, 250-350 price point, etc. Is the Globe just a slightly better/improved/more mature Orb or something?
