Honestly Honestly guys....do the 325 deliver in classical anykind of soundstage and imaging? Because i just dont like the HD580.....too harsh, almost uninvolving, too laid back, veiled.....well they are certainly not my type of cans.

And i'm thinking going either AKG701 or perhaps SR325i....

# 2008 reporting in - just got them but they were first bought in Feb 2007 in the UK. Does the serial seem odd ?

Original owner paid £280

Can't tell you what they sound like because I have a really bad cold

look at the lost in the first post, yours are an older set. Mine are #5693, I purchased my April 7, 2007

It would be interesting to have the original owners add the delivery date next to the serial #.

Who out there in 325i Land has had their phones recabled? Who did the work? What brand of cable was used? describe the performance change? A photo of the finished product would be nice.
