So right out of the box, initial discovery is that the silicon tips are unusable. I had to either use included foam or grab my Final Audio E tips. Sound wise these have nice sub-bass, nice mid bass, clear and full mids and smooth treble.

Briefly. Seems to make it more airy and takes some bass away. I’m enjoying the module that came in the IEM.Have you tried the new module?

Not sure if you read the Headfonia review, would you say they have more mid vs sub bass focus?
Congrats! Can you please compare bass response to LX? Obviously it won't be the same, but just to get a feel, on the scale between LX and Solaris. Because the Headfonia review suggested a less punchy, more spongy bass, with more of a mid-bass focus, which put the brakes on my early blind buy.Oh yea. This beats the Solaris for me.

In my opinion, and I know some might have a different experience, but DD analysis out of the box is not accurate, needs some time to break in the dynamic driver.

The NIO right now, which may change, sounds like a Legend X with less overall bass and slightly more pronounced mids. Treble is hard for me to distinguish because both the Legend X and Nio have fantastic detailed treble, neither overly peaky or harsh.Congrats! Can you please compare bass response to LX? I am tempted by the Nio, but can obviously wait. I would not get it unless it adds something my current line up does not.
