Extraordinary sound and color faceplate, so it will definitely cost > $2k. I would say it Is the U18s.

agree, bet it will be definitely u18s, ~$2999 same as u18t

there is no reason only release A18s without u18s. The time lag is totally reasonable, make a custom is easy, but scramble everything to a shell and make it mass producable using CNC takes some time.

Does any one know if 64a makes 8wires premium cable in 4.4mm ? Like my noir came with a 8wires cable but its 2.5mm I need 4.4 zzzz any one had this solved somehow?
Is cayin 90° 2.5 to 4.4 dongle a good solution?

Don't think it'll be a U18s. The pics and videos they're released so far show a vent that implies a DD. So it's a hybrid of some sort.

Also there is other points that wouldn't fit with a U18s release.

1) they said around the initial announcement that they had no plans for making universals of the A18s
2) they are just coming out of lockdown with only very few employees working in their labs
3) the A18s is targeted for Studio and Stage which both probably have little use for universal designs

That should work. Someone had recommended the below to me which is available on amazon. I am very happy with these adapters. They make both 2.5 to 4.4 and 2.5 to 3.5. Tks.

What happens to the 1960? I thought you pair it with Noir?

i bought this same brand 2.5 to 3.5 adapter (ddHifi) and the FiiO one. I think the FiiO adapter is better as I find it more transparent. I also have their 2.5 to 4.4 adapters but have not compared them in detail yet.

Yea I do have the pw1960.
There is something very special I felt with stock cable I know its strange but seems that stock cable has lighter feel to the sound? Better control in bass. A little more open treble and overall sound tuning feels more relaxed and more balanced.

I been reading on the premium serie cables and it seems they are using some low resistance features by adding more wires to the conductors... which brings better performance.

I am experimenting this new possibility. The noir is so sensitive to any change in the loop that it can be transformed into a totally new iem, its one of the advantages of the noir technicality of being able to change it self by showing the new changes in the chain...

I’ve returned to the stock cable for Fourte for the same reasons.

Dang....
Well I will keep experimenting and will see how it goes.
I do like the pw1960 as well I just never realised the potential of the stock cable it could be this good! Its actually a first one for me!
