WM1Z, just googled it...woah on the initial sticker shock. Also looks like it isn't compatible with Tidal so if that is my source for high-resolution audio files that would be problematic - am I right about the lack of compatibility?
I have the mojo and the 300r which can stream tidal. Problem is any dap with streaming will have very poor battery life, I'm talking 4-5hrs max which is not ideal of you are out more than indoor. The mojo pairing should be a great pairing will try it later as I left it in my car
Yep, but streaming is more convenient as you can choose playlists depending on your mood etc..
On another note, one thing I wish it was better is the case, @64Audio could have offered a better case. My Westone w80 had a big travelling case where I could have my cables, my dap, tips and my iem. This case looks ugly, feels cheap and cant ne used to store anything else

i dont think he wants to spend that kind of cash into a dap
so back to the u18t, the mojo brings out more details especially the soundstage and more clarity on the treble, but the combination is less forgiving for badly mastered tracks as theres a lof going on in the treble, i can almost hear a congestion. On EDM tracks its a powerful bass with clear seperation and wider soundstage.

Yes - not looking to drop $3K on a DAP at this time. Since there are no comments on the Dragonfly Red is that because folks haven't used it or is it because it's garbage with the Fourte and U12T?
for me its mostly because, when i started i bought an OPPO Ha2 as i was looking at the DR but most people said the OPPO is better. Plus i think most, when buying 1.5k+ $ IEM/CIEMS they want what's best for their DACs/DAPs so i dont think they will look into something in the 100-200USD range. Only reviewers can give you some advice as they most likely would have a variety of gear to compare

Yeah, the 64 audio case isn't particularly useful.
I highly recommend the Fiio HB1 case. This case is waterproof and less bulkier than the Pelican 1010s. I've been able to store my U12 with a Toxic SW22 cable comfortably in this case.
