I mean they are outstanding IEMs, you could always just get another pair of “more fun” iems. Like keep them and get a pair of custom Bravados.

Legend X is certainly bassier but not necessarily warm, from what I've read. Phantom is warmer than U18 but also far more balanced. Much more realistic timbre and it's sub-bass extension and quality far outperforms the U18. Vocals are heftier and more tangible as well.

Well just realised I had to push the shells/nozzle a bit further and the sound is better now. I will test further tonight with different tip sizes and material

Have you heard either? He says he likes EDM and the LX is fantastic for that. It is also much warmer in comparison to the U18t, but not warm in the sense that it is muddy.

Totally missed the EDM part my bad! Yeah Legend X all the way in that case. :beerchug:

LX is a touch warm. Especially compared to the likes of tia Fourté and Encore. But there is still quite a lot of treble detail and sparkle, making it less warm than some others, like FIBAE ME.

It's hard to say what is truly neutral, in terms of warmth and brightness. Yet right now, I'd put Legend X just south of neutral. The treble wants to be bright, but there's so much mid bass it never actually gets there.

Hehehe, this is an endless debate as I'd have to audition more iems to make a good decision. I might go to London in September, just need to find a retailer with largest possible collection to demo

That was literally the first thing I thought of when you claimed U18t was lacking bass. NO ONE thinks U18t lacks bass. I knew it had to be a seal issue.

Try JVC Spiral Dots. My favorite tips. Works great with every universal IEM I own.

Also a big fan of the MandarinEs Symbio W.

You may also find the stock tips work great. Like you said, try smaller sizes for deeper insertion. Generally speaking, the deeper the IEM goes, the better the seal will be, and the better the sound.

Also, I find MandarinEs tips are on the large size. So buy a size smaller than you usually wear. Or, better yet, get a variety pack!
