Any suggestion for best third party cable for the a12t?
I've tried several (Penon OS849, CEMA #175, CEMA Special Tunning, CEMA 50/50 SPC and pure copper, ...), but from all @doctorjuggles 's King Copper is by far the best imo. It makes the a12t sound like it has both the M15 and M20 on (both bass and huge expanded sound), as well as it sounds a lot closer to the U12t to me.

But in any case you want to snag a CEMA on the cheap, I will be selling the three mentioned above soon, I haven't gotten around to making the posts :) PM me if you're interested.

I would say go for the fourte or noir, that's what they have that trio doesn't: spacious and airy soundstage.

Compared to the fourte, no it doesn't 😉

Comparisons are the work of the Devil 😈 But I get where you're coming from. If they were the same price I'd consider it an issue. Then again Trio is said to be less peaky with fuller mids and more sub bass vs mid bass emphasis, so pick your poison.

Awesome. Keenly await your impressions and comparisons.
Yessir, working on it  I made the same mistake that I made with all prior 64 IEM's, and had my first listen with the wrong tips (SpinFit CP100) which simply don't work with my ear shape on universal 64 shells. You'd think I would've learnt by now

Anyway, I've switched to Azla Sedna Lights and it's sounding a hell of a lot better. I can tell already that the Trio has my favourite bass out of the five 64 IEM's I've heard. Compared to the Fourte Noir, the mids sound better balanced, and the treble is much easier on the ears.

A positive early impression for sure :)

Liking it. Sedna are definitely the right match for Trio, along with Spiral Dot.

What is a good upgrade cable option for the Trio. I like the signature, but I'm wondering if any cables would widen the soundstage and or increase soundstage. I'd like to stay under $500 if possible. Thanks

I’m using PW Audio 1960s 2 wire and imho it’s a great match for Trió but I’m not too good putting sound into words :)

Oh wow congrats! Now you are in for a threat bro! Very happy for you. I used xelastecs and 64a small foams on all my 64a iems.

Please share ya findings with the trio 🙃

Do you use a spacer with the SD++ or leave it flush with the nozzle (which pretty much negates the effect if the dots but it's still a very soft and comfy tip). I use a small spacer with the SD to reveal a row of dots and let them do their dotty thing.
