Mine is changed to in production on 28th, and still on the same stage now.
I think it would perhaps be longer than 4-5 weeks, but I have great confidence to it.
With the new tia driver, it must be damn good!!

Isn't the tia-high the same driver in the Fourte, a18t, and others? The driver itself isn't new; just this combination/crossover is new, correct?

The fact the a18t is "faster" to produce is interesting. Maybe they're having trouble getting the a12t to match the proposed sound signature (purely speculation in the absence of information)?

I thought they they added the Tia driver the a18 at the same time as the a12, but my memory may be failing me.

A18 and A18t are exact the same model actually. It been out for a while now. A12t is the latest and I first saw them with Black Friday sale.

Another interesting place on a12t, there is no perimum cable on a12t but u12t. I hope 64audio can provide an option in stock cable upgrade.
And so the A18t. I don't think perimum cable is included.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I was confused by this as well. Curious of the background/logic behind no premium cable on the same price-point. Then again, maybe more people purchasing the custom series are more likely to purchase other cables as well (non 64-audio)? Regardless, as vinwan said, I'm surprised it's not an option to upgrade.

Oh well, here's to waiting patiently. :beerchug:

Who said premium cable isnt included with A18 ? My A18 came with both premium and standard cable.
Maybe an assumption? 64-Audio's page simply says:

48" or 64" Detachable Cable

Thanks for clarifying though.

In my case, the double flange silicone tips from 64 audio and the true fidelity foam tips works perfect for the treble of the U18.
I already have the balanced and unbalanced premium cable from 64 audio, and it works in a good way but they are a bit uncomfortable (the shape of the 2 pin connectors)....
Wich aftermarket cable is a good option for the U18s??
I’ve heard that the Effect audio Ares II is a good option...are the effect audio lionheart a better option??
Ares 2 adds too much treble go for the lionheart and u wont regret

He might be thinking of Ares II PLUS, which everyone says is a much warmer cable than the non-plus.

You guys should try offerings outside of effect audio. So many different choices out there. PWAudio 1960s cable fits it nicely.
