Still rocking my Duos. I used to have the U12ts a while back but kept my Solaris 2020 instead of them.

I still have the Solaris, but my Duos get all of my listening time. They just sound more natural and open to my ears. I keep thinking I should do an AB again, but I can't be arsed.🤣

If I had the chance to try the U12t again, I'd love to put them against the Duos though.

I have a pair of Fir Audio V x Vs, and a pair of U6Ts on the way. I can't wait!!!
Congrats on the U6t, the “little IEM that could” out of 64’s lineup imho.

When you just want to listen to your music here, there, or anywhere with no fuss no muss, the U6t gets it done.

There are tons of options to read FLAC files on your iOS device, just type “FLAC” in the App Store search bar :)

One solution that I find more polished is the VOX app
https://vox.rocks/iphone-music-player
They also have a have a cloud with unlimited storage where you can store all you FLAC, DSD and other HiRes files to play them on the go (of course you need a subscription for this)
https://vox.rocks/vox-player-premium
Thanks for all this you all- never been able to get any of my FLAC library to play from iPhone, translated it all to ALAC or AIFF. No longer.

Off Topic but does anyone know where I could listen to a pair of Fourte in central London?

would like to add a pair (used) to complement u12t and intrigued by Fourte but reviews and opinions are just so polarising so feel the need to listen to before pulling trigger.

Out of curiosity, do you push the tips in to sit flush with the nozzle like the stock tips are meant to fit?
That depends on the tips. Spinfit CP100s and the CP145s that come stock with at least the Nio, yes. But you don’t want the end of the nozzle to be flush with the end of the tip. That’ll effect the sound, even if that isn’t an issue for you they insert fairly deep so will have to worry about wax etc. I’ve never had an issue with needing to clean my other IEMs but the Nios,… have to be cleaned every time I use them.

I have normal spiral dots. Don’t know the stock tips. I don’t have those. Mine go pretty far over the nozzle.

That’s with the CP145s and the other silicone tips that came with them (I’m not sure how they’re supposed to be useable). You will want to use tips with longer stems. If you use anything with short stems, like CP360, they well get pushed down to the bottom of the nozzle.

Edit: CP100s fit the nozzle the same as the CP145s in this picture.

and end up being flush.
