Me and riverground running around commuting with our multikilobick setups wonders if we can be honorary Singaporean audiophiles too.

Yeah, I agreed that discerning the difference from HQ sources is quite difficult outside of a quiet and relaxing environment. My flacs are reserved for archival and whenever I can have a session with my RME in the den.

Another reason for me is the isolation and to give myself the space to think or relax. A loud environment really messes with me, and a custom mixing monitor solves the issue.

Even moreso in Asia. I always bring my customs when I travel.

Haha add me to the gang lol I have my end game setup every where I go 😝🥰

I always take these when I go into London shopping or with my Sony WM1Z, I can’t hear anything apart from my fantastic music 🎶 despite the large crowds of people and traffic and the back home to chill out here.

I went for a walk on the beach with the wind howling... The custom N8 performed very well. Much better than any universal in terms of isolation, ime. And I love the M11 pro. Great compromise between portability and sound quality imo.

Definitely Apex in howling wind is not an issue for me. Whereas I might have to turn up the volume, my A12t stays consistent.

I alway preffered the m20 it gave me the best isolation, trio was significantly less isolated then fourte ( m20 vs m15 ) but the noirs even if same m20 as og still have more isolation then og some how.

M20 does have the best isolation, but I don't really like the mid bass quantity with it.

Thankfully that's not an issue with Fourte. Noir would likely sound more balanced and less midbass 'thick' with an M15 instead of M20.

Hey! The stock cable on my U12T has started to cut the sound on the right IEM. Its a bad connection close to the connector. Have to find out if its the cable itself or a solder issue.

Is there a way to open the 3.5 mm connector on the stock cable?? It seems like it can be unscrewed, but i will not try until i know it for sure.

Im a little bit shockdd about the stock cable. I have really treated my U12T as a pet since i got it and only used it in bed. Hopefully the connector can be opened?! 😃

Thanks

Bummer man, you’d probably have to send it in for warranty. You’re the fourth or fifth person - including myself - that I know of to have this issue. Try and swap cables first, but...

The stock cable is really bad, and not just from a tactile standpoint. When most people adjust the memory wire, they’re not going to use two hands; they’ll do it when the IEM is already in their ear. That seems to put excessive strain on the connector joints even though they’re using a flush pin.

I’m sure the memory wire is more useful if you use these IEMs in a professional capacity, but I always recommend swapping out the stock cable in my reviews because of this.

I've started having this issue recently and I've just sent my U12t's for repair :-/

I just have my U12t back from repair. It was the bad connection on the left side iem. BTW, I am not using stock cable.
Just curious: how long did they take to return them to you?
