Hooray! Just got an email update from Hiby!

"Upgrade On Our 2nd Stretch Goal!
Posted by HiBy Music (Creator)
Dear Backers,

We have been listening to everyone’s comments and we are trying our best to meet your needs. We’ve noticed that a lot of people have been asking about changing the current white plastic case stretch goal to a clear case. We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude towards all the backers. So, instead of simply changing the stretch goal, the white case will become a complimentary part of the package *right now* while the clear case will take its place as the 2nd stretch goal!"

Thank you Hiby!
roughly another 135 backers gets us the clear case as of 2.30pm GMT 10/3/18:sunglasses:

Album art sure looks good on that little bugger! You like the comets with the hiby, I can't wait to hear it with Beyer akt8ie and some magic 8 ball effects. Wooo!

I think that's one of the best looking daps I've ever laid eyes on, so symmetrical- I think it looks better than even the r6.

I can add a few more;

Poly gives no screen for the Mojo by itself.
Poly can only connect via USB, it cannot take advantage of Mojo's optical or coax digital inputs.
Poly makes Mojo taller and forces you to carry another device with you, R3 makes Mojo a bit thicker which is way more mobile option.
Poly forces you to be a wireless network expert while R3 just works.
R3 does everything better than Poly does for majority of the Mojo owners.
+2 for both of you
I couldn't say better, all theses reasons are the ones I will pair R3 with Mojo and I will have a mobile solution when travelling with IEMs

By the way, talking on IEMs to be paired with R3. I love the sound of my Etymotic ER4PT and how much comfortable they are.

I have studied how to transform them to get use of the 2.5mm balanced output and I have discarded any conversion through bulky adaptors.

So most probable I will sell them to buy a IEMs in this quality, sound and proce as the ER4PT, but with balanced cable.
Which alternatives do you recommend to me?

Hello, Does anyone can explain this picture?

Hiby R3 play 16/44.1wav file. Connected to Mojo via usb cable. Somehow mojo power light is orange. It should be red color for 44.1khz.

By the way, Does Hiby R3 has Airplay in receiver mode ?

| believe that's a photographic effect - the red light of the power light looks over exposed which leads to wrong color representation.
Ever tried to capture those crazy red skies at sun rise or sun set with your mobile phone? You'll get a washed out yellow-orange effect.
That's what I think happened here...

Hiby R3 looks like a great device, but I think it can't magically convert mpeg to DSD yet

I don't have either of these devices but if it's not a photo effect could also be explained if Hiby OS has some type of upsampling processing enabled.

Mojo's balls are all red. It is the phone's camera which gives the wrong color. You can try shooting your Mojo playing a 44.1kHz file and see the result yourself.
Yes R3 supports Airplay.
