hey guys

anyone knows if there is a downloadable user manual for the R3? Trying to figure out what some of the settings do.
Cheers

The only 1 I know of is written in Chinese and linked on their Chinese website. It's not a big deal for me because I understand the language

Seems like the wav files don't allow albumart either. So for now, it seems the 384khz 24bit flac is most versatile between different software apps and DAP's for R3.

I had few DSD256 albums that i converted to 384/32 flac. For R3 i reconvert it to 384/24. The 16 minute wav track is 3GB, i'm better of with 1GB flac (wav supports 32bit but flac 24bit max).
Unless R6 pro comes out soon :)

At the risk of upsetting some people, MQA is not worth having in my opinion.

I am still exploring MQA. So far it is okay but seems the win is more convenience/file size rather than a big improvement in sound quality. DSD is still the best format to my ears. Doesnt mean I am allergic to MQA. Just like to have my options on the go.

The MQA is so new, it's not even on the sale in most of the European regions. Do my understanding, it's PCM and little overpriced like DSD, which is outdated proprietary format.
I'm happy with 192/24 flac albums, they sell for half the price of DSD and the selection is far better.
