Anybody know how to locate older firmware? I am thinking maybe gapless works better on older firmware? Also perhaps bass response if I am lucky ....

Open to thoughts. And yes I checked the HiBy site and only found the latest firmware.

Nah, that was last weekend. You should see how unhappy some of the posts are over at the Facebook page. Language there we would not tolerate here on Head-Fi.

Looks so, I already mentioned this to my bank today among other things. They were ok with helping me with cb or % of cb if issues not answered or fixed, just keep record and save everything.

i now have the R3/M0/AP60pro/NunsaP1 to compare with no real performance complaints about any of them or their price
the biggest issue will be which one gets used when and how often

Yes, I have the the Hiby link active under wireless settings/ Bluetooth

Boy, I'm really digging the R3. Very nice indeed. Using as transport with my iFi iDSD Micro BL. After 9 hours of continuous use, battery is at 75%. lol Cool! My BL, on the other hand, poops out at around 7 hours.
Anyway, I thought I would ask: What do you guys use to embed album art? I have never had success with ANY phone or DAP using dBpoweramp. Thought the files might be too large so downsized one to 400 x 400 to test and no go. Oh well. What do you guys use for your album art? (dBpoweramp works just fine on nVidia Shield)

For what its worth, I adjusted my FLC8S to increase the bass and now the R3 sounds better. I am using a combo that I have never previously liked with my other DAP units.

Specifically, red ULF, black LF, gunmetal MF/HF. The black LF increases the bass from my normal "go to" which uses the grey LF filter. The grey LF is closer to reference. The black is more bass heavy. I am running with the factory balanced cables; and now the R3 sounds "right" with MSEB turned off. So now my newer FLC8D is for use with my other DAPs and the FLC8S is just for the R3.

Just found firmware 1.11 now available for ota update
Fixes time changing to Chinese time definitely, not sure of anything else yet.

• Now I get the error code for Tidal instead of the “Tap subscribe for trial” message. So what are we supposed to do now, send this to Hiby support?
• Time reverting to HK time zone seems to have been fixed
