Listening to "A LIFE So Changed" ..Titanic...by James Horner....
arrghhh  ...holographic....soft tremor-ring subbbass in the background...the fog.....waiting for the ice impact.

WOW!! You're the first person I've seen on Head Fi who's listened to James Horner's fantastic Titanic score!

Nice! :D

There you go...

If you want some movie bass you've got to try the Interstellar OST.

In my middle age I'd rather not fight the crowds. I have a JVC RS2 projector with a 120" screen and a great 7.1 surround system so I'll probably be the last guy in Canada to see it. Lol!

Nice, but you're missing out on the sticky floor - or are you?

If I had a setup like that, I'd never visit another theatre again. You must be waiting for the day movies get released direct to home on a PPV model.

The Superman coin is cool, i guess. But what about the Bugs Bunny one…

ps. the movie talk inspired me to change my sig

The best movie bass I can remember is the Last Samurai soundtrack.

The second Lord of the Rings end battle is incredible also. I think I watched that last battle scene several times just because of the incredible bass and fidelity.

absorbing album.... love to listen to this deep in the night....
the rustle in the forest, waiting for the samurais to charge. :P
( one has to watch the movie to appreciate it better )

...to get a feel of one of the epic composition

I got the Angled HM5 pads today and I am trying them on for the last little bit.

1. Huge improvement in comfort for me. Right away, 100% more comfortable for me. Not even kidding about that
2. Soundstage reacted exactly as I predicted it would. It is bigger and not as congested as before. Less bass and better soundstage. It feels like a sphere of sound around my head.

Betting back to the bass, I feel it is tighter and more punchy with less mid bass. The tonal balance was warmer than neutral, and now its closer to neutral. Easier to hear more micro details. To my ears, its a pretty noticeable upgrade in sounds. Pretty crazy how much a pair of pads can affect the sound!

IMO the Angled velour pads are a must for the V2.

Is this your K10 order?  I remember you mentioned something about a special two weeks turnaround?  Or was that from the time you send out in-ear impression?

Waiting for another CIEM order as well (another company), [they] update you on-line with every step of order progress and manufacturing.  Been refreshing Order Status page daily, multiple times...

Wait, did you buy from 64 audio (formerly 1964 ears)? A12?

What design are you getting on your customs?

Why do you assume it's 64 Audio rather than UE or JH or CustomArt, or AAW, etc?  Just curious because we played this game before, with roles reversed

Btw, it's not a purchase (though with a hefty shipping cost), but an order for review purpose which I'm sure will be re-shelled after I return it back.  But nevertheless, I'm still giddy about it.  Plus, another promise for a loaner from a different company.  I got hooked on these multi-driver IEM/CIEM models, and now curious if adding extra drivers worth it.  I know, the answer is "diminishing returns", but I want to find out to what extent
