Get a bunch of labsters together and design the dream ciem for each person and everyone chips in for the development cost, and people end up with a one off and wholly unique product :)

So what are your impressions the HE-300 are pretty cheap on Ebay.

So, how'd you like them? And what pads did your buddy have on them?
The HE-300 is really warm and not very detailed.

The HE-400 was pretty good overall, but the highs were a touch off. It had an unnatural sound in the highs IMHO.

He had velour pads on each of them.

Man oh man, if we could be a review team to help a company make an IEM I think we would make a winner

Quite a few labsters have the chops to actually provide valuable insight for up and coming iem developers. I say we unionize ;)

Looks like the new HE400S looks to be going back to the HE400 sound signature, albeit with more relaxed treble. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they would name it so, the S suffix can be mistaken for the plural form. The need to up their naming game lol

Did a quick comparison between the Titans and A73 today: http://www.head-fi.org/t/771174/fidue-a73-dynamic-1-dd-1ba-iem-impressions-and-discussion-thread/15#post_11681441

The A73 does keep some characteristics from the A71 like the bloomy and warm mids but not as intense as with the A71. The Titans sound cleaner and more lean and the A73 sound warmer, punchier and wider.

Thanks Igor.  I'll have to audition them - but I have a feeling (judging by the descriptions of one or two) that they won't really be my "cup of tea".

I really enjoying these budget iem's not crazy about the counter weights, they would be better with a chin slide to tighten them up behind your head but still happy.

Totally agree with that. The wires are just clinging on to my ears. Did you get ear hooks with the ATEs? They really help a lot.

Here is a custom I made awhile ago it's Sony's Bluetooth earbuds that I put into custom shells I made, the faceplates are stainless steel as you know I love my SS. I really would like to have a pair that you don't need a cable attaching the two but being Bluetooth with 2 ear pieces you have know choice. I would like figure out a way so you don't need the cable in between, and they would be synced together. And having two metal contact points on the face plate so you could just place them face down on a charging matt to recharge them, kind of like the iPhone cases where you can charge threw the case.

No ear hooks came with them are they supposed to come with them?

Mine had a pair of silicon type hooks chucked into the shipping package along with another pair of foam eartips.

I got them from the first "official" KZ store on AE.
