I guess I will be buying from there now, I got mine off ebay and they came in the same kind of plastic case the ED9s came in.

Yeah but these elcheapo iem's sound good and if you saved up for a more expensive pair you wouldn't have as many to choose from. I am so glad Vince turned me onto KZ's stuff. He really is the King at finding budget stuff that sounds great.

+10 to that. I love how the ATE are an excellent complement to the Havi. Sub bass extension, intimate vocals and relaxing highs that still have decent speed. Probably about time I actually review my stuff. For the longest time I didn't know to review the Havi, being my reference unit. Still don't really know actually, but will give it a shot anyhow.

Looks like the new HE400S looks to be going back to the HE400 sound signature, albeit with more relaxed treble. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they would name it so, the S suffix can be mistaken for the plural form. The need to up their naming game lol

I've already fallen victim to the HE400s naming issue on one of the HiFiMan threads. I thought the person meant their pair of HE400. They really meant HE400S.

Yes Man, it is far too easy to buy stuff online.

Remember guys we only have TWO ears, why then do we need so many IEM's and such?????????????????? LOL

That's a question I find myself grappling with a lot lol...

Vince

This is really subjective .......

The two sound really a lot more alike than different. The first thing I've noticed is the Titan's mid-bass, which is definitely not as prominent ion the 2000J.  As a result the 2000J sounds marginally brighter - but I'm not sure if this is the diminished bass, or more treble. The 2000J might have a smidge more upper mid-range.  If you find the Titan's treble bordering on too much, then I'd probably not recommend the 2000J.  But if you love the Titan, want a little flatter sound (less mid-bass), and more refinement and apparent detail - the 2000J would be perfect.

I went back to the Fidue A83 for a while tonight - and what surprised me is how much I now prefer the 2000J to the Fidue.  If I had to give away the A83 now - I honestly wouldn't be that sad.  If I had to lose the 2000J, I'd be grumpy as heck.  In fact if I rated my top IEMs now, #1 would be the 2000J, #2 would be the Delta.

Funny how tastes can change ....

That would be great.

Much appreciated

I can compare direct to Titan tonight when I get home if you want.  That should give you a ballpark on the treble intensity

As they say - it takes one to know one!

Who am I to judge, being a person who has been through 6 DAP's and 3 USB DAC's in the last 6 months but I only retain 2 DAP's and 1 USB DAC (in my defence - but I plead guilty).

The problem we have is that we have no money left over to pay for any addiction counselling we might need, so the cycle continues unabated. LOL

P.S. I think our addiction is probably cheaper than paying for counselling!
