The thing that really gets me is the way we keep coming back to it. Most things we get tired of after sampling it over a period of time (maybe not sex), but with music it just keeps giving. It speaks to our soul, and our soul loves to listen. As a matter of fact my daughter once said to me 'we are not a body with a soul, we are a soul with a body'. Maybe that's where the magic lies.

Apologies for getting all zen but it's been on my mind lately.

42. So what was the question again?

Got the ED9 woot woot, right out of the box I am very impressed, they came with the silver filter installed a little to warm for my tastes havent had a chance to switch them yet. They are amazing for $18 price i paid for them. I cant beleive how they can make them so cheap, I am afraid to know the Lead content in the materials lol.

I always wondered when people are spending their own money, how they chose what to review. There is soooo much available now - seems like a dozen new chinese iems every week.

unless of course you're secretly one of those 1% folks and don't have to worry bout throwing your money round;)
sometimes I get lucky with review samples, but I will be sure to indicate this in the review.

I purchsed them on ebay May 19 and received them today, not bad for coming from China. The build quility is really good the only problem is the finish on the housings is a little shotty. But can complain for the price, the right angle plug is nice very low profile and sits down really close to my phone. Now I want my ATEs

@Hisoundfi
  another thing I keep forgetting about -assuming you're the right person. How's the chromebook working out as a source? My laptop is getting annoyingly run down, and am thinking bout maybe going that route and using my x3 as a DAP.
I stream most of my music at 320kbps so the chromebook works great. The highest bit rate I get from it is 16/48k so it's not going to blow you away in that aspect.

I use it with my e17k and it sounds really good, but not as good as my windows laptop playing FLAC.

I more use the chromebook for writing reviews honestly.

Google docs and fast webs urging are big pluses.

If I wanted to go balls out in terms of fidelity it would be a mac book. The problem is I protest apple and I'm too cheap to spring that high.

Maybe you should try asking Apple if they'll give you one in return for an unbiased review
