Just wanted to say that Canada Post is absolutely ***** and one of the worst services I have ever had the displeasure of working with, bunch of incompetent monkeys really, but that would be insulting monkey's intelligence.
 
Canada post says CBSA has my package and CBSA says canada post is lying and that they aren't holding my package. Canada post wont do anything to help. screw****M**********c********

Ya man...and I don't know how good it is to be pushing the home ovens to the limit. One thing for everyone to try is to use thick, unglazed terracotta tiles. Those work really well, and are pretty cheap. 

With those, you could even make a second shelf of tiles/stones. Then put the pizza in between the two layers to really concentrate the heat in the middle of this "brick oven" that you built. 

gets the job done. 


I'm hoping to burn out my oven and justify purchasing a gas stove :evil:

Never thought of a top baking stone to concentrate the heat. Sound like a good idea. Wishing I hadn't tossed my old cracked baking stone now :(

Why not? All you need is something that will store and radiate heat...

Haven't done it myself, but imagine it would work fine.
