You wouldn't believe it (or you would ha), but this did the trick! I can't believe I didn't try this earlier, but alas, many thanks!
Fantastic! It has worked for me before, thus the suggestion. Very glad to have helped.

Hello. I purchased hiby r3 pro saber. I like the sound of it, but there is a big problem for me: strong clicks when I press pause/play. I understand that the output stage is turned off/on, but it's so loud that I want to rip off the headphones. Does everyone have such clicks ?
Thanks.

No, mine doesn't do that (R3 Pro non-saber). Is this with local files or streaming?

I also have a simple hiby r3. It doesn't have clicks.

What do I have to change to make my SD card read and write in the R3? It's not the card. I took it out and put it into my old LG G7 and it reads and writes.
Probably the SD card. Just because it reads and writes in one device doesn't mean it will read and write in all devices.

That's the reason why many devices have an approved list of SD cards stated somewhere in the document.

I just put in a brand new 512 card. The R3 won't write to it either.
The card that was in it has over 150 gig files written to it while in the R3.

Old post I know, but please can you tell me if you found a solution? After unplugging a 2.5mm jack, BAL has stubbornly remained only that jack now works. I am really hoping it can be remedied? No sound at all through 3.5mm output, and greyed out option.

It thinks something is plugged in to the 2.5 jack. Check for foreign material or dust bunnies. There is a contact at the tip that's staying open. You can try a few plug and unplug cycles and canned air to clean it out.

Thank you. So far I've tried plugging/unplugging with the 2.5mm contact, and toothpick maneuvers without any luck. No compressed air, but no debris or dust came up with the toothpick.

EDIT: Tried couple of dry puffs - and COAX came back. I'm concerned at how easily it jammed so firmly as BAL, I'll see if it remains reliable now.

EDIT2: Sure enough, after inserting the 2.5mm and withdrawing it, it's jammed on BAL again. I'll try more this evening. Thank you!

You may already know but it says coax when nothing is plugged in (which is what you want).
