Does not work for me on the R3 even though they show the cover art on all my other DAPs. Without the cover.jpg file in the folder the library only shows a generic blue disk.

I wonder if it's simply sending the volume setting and dacs that support volume control are listening to it.

I can not say about all DACs, but, in my experience, Mojo does not support external volume control over the USB.

When I use the FiiO Q1MKII with an iPhone and the Micro USB to Lightning connector, Spotify sounds very clean and the only volume control that is active is on the FiiO. When using the FiiO with the R3, the volume is still active on the R3 and even when set to 100 it still sounds off to me.
After owning this a few days now I can say my only gripes are touch screen is not always responsive to my touch and it seems like the new LDAC is clipping with the max output of 24/96. Does anyone else have the clipping sound when playing 24/96 using LDAC?
Capacitive touch screens can be less responsive with thick skin and dry skin.

Can someone try out the following.
Aptx wireless playback
When playing a track touch the scroll line to jump to say the middle of the track.
Sometimes the sound just does not work.
Really odd not happened before.
UPDATE. Transferring via USB and using Auto update seems to have an issue.
Last added tracks not playing correctly.
Updated library manually a second time and all OK?

Firmware 1.13 seems to be on OTA. Goes through to a screen with 2 numbered Chinese messages now, but there's a clear Download 'button'...

It seems to reference 1.13 when you download the firmware OTA but what ends up on the device once installed is 1.12 from what I can see. Others may be able to clarify.
So I'm wirelessly downloading, & this is the 1st thing it shows after the checking for new firmware message...
Just in case it makes a difference, the last update I did by manually downloading from the link given on here
If it's really 1.12, that may explain the error I get when it tries to install
