Sash Deux V2 Guy who built those told me it has a 100mm overall diameter and active area is 75mm. Other specs mentioned were 96db sensitivity and 14 ohm impedance.
It's a cool headphone. It can be used both open and closed. Just got them today.

To overcome the screw problem causing a bad seal, I use XL rubber bands to add a touch more compression. Here are the frequency responses. Measured with mini dsp H.E.A.R:S with 1/12 smoothing
First I measured it closed. I don't hear that huge valley at the center. I suspect that its some resonance from the cups which cancel some of the frequencies in measurements or something like that.
And as suspected, it was not driver inherent problem. Here is open back measurement.
Even though the channel balance is not bad it is partially my system that makes it worse. Right channel always measures bit quieter on every headphone. I thought Sash Deux V2 sounds a lot like LCD-3 and measurements confirm it.
LCD-3 vs Sash Deux V2
To my ears LCD-3 actually has a bit better sub bass extension. I'ts the stupid screws on Mini Dsp that cause some leakage and LCD-3 won't clamp hard enough to compensate for that.
For more reference here is Sash Deux vs Sundara
Sash Deux V2 has impressive resolution and soundstage is bigger than on LCD-3. Despite tonal differences one could expect it to lag behind LCD-3 on other aspects but it really does not. Not by a lot anyway. For $350 it's hard to beat.

Ugh.. Can't stand planar mids weirdness. If they want to innovate Orthos, they need to start with that problem. Here are the frequency responses. Measured with mini dsp H.E.A.R:S with 1/12 smoothing

Revox RH 310 (rebranded Beyerdynamic DT440) from around 1974/1980
It’s the first “large” diaphragm driver from beyerdynamic, the membrane has a very similar shape to that of the DT880 but it’s smooth. On the back the magnet assembly is similar to that of the dt100 and dt220 from the same are witch had a smaller driver. It had a quite complex system of vents and damping behind the dome trough the center of the magnet.
This can be considered as the origin of all beyerdynamic open headphones and of the legendary DT880.
(In the second picture it is shown alongside a 1980 DT880 driver)

For the k100 and beryllium drivers, I tried in things with them, open and closed back. I tried to open 1 and 2 holes on the back of the k100, it turns them to complete bass monster, but still sounds bright ir harsh. So it seems there might be something mechanical on the diaphragm making it so, or the voice coil and the magnet system, or even the fact that its its 32 ohm version vs 540 ohm of the berrylium.
