When you work on a project for endless hours, overcome many obstacles and then finally show it to regular people.

Tell them ‘because you can’t walk around carrying a set of big speakers and amps on your back, dragging an extension cord behind you

I'm talking about people in real life lol.
We were all in the mindset of "Headphones are just headphones. Don't spend more than 20$ on it!" at some point in our life so i guess it's understandable.
quite recently I moved to a town of 4000 people. When I list headphones for sale on "Finnish eBay" people on such a small community notice. Even local electronics store keeper had noticed someone is selling expensive headphones. And even though he sells headphones amongst other things he had no idea headphones can be so expensive.

I'm propably the official weird headphone guy here. Kind of like the village idiot but because of headphones :D

I also live in a small town.

Woman: "Do people actually spend 50$ on Headphones?! they're just headphones!"

Me: Lady, the cable for my headphones at home costs 50$.

Woman:

Has anyone here delved into the effects of magnets on the human brain\head?
I got some ideas and drivers i want to try out, but it has occurred to me that strong magnets might be harmful to the human body.

MRI machines shoot about 60 teslas of magnetic force at the human body, and they're supposed to be completely safe.

haha, everybody like to use the MRI example, it seems.
Here's a little nugget on this subject:

An MRI scanner is essentially a big magnet that produces a powerful magnetic field of around 3 tesla (or 3 million microtesla) — millions of times larger than the fields we’re normally exposed to. But because it’s a static magnetic field, MRI scanners don’t exert any noticeable effect on the body. That would change, however, if the patient inside the scanner were to rapidly move his or her head back and forth. “Moving quickly induces a time-varying field, so by doing that you are inducing currents in different structures of your brain,” says Legros. Those currents may lead to nausea, loss of balance, a metallic taste in your mouth, or in some cases, magnetophosphenes.

Sash Deux V2 Guy who built those told me it has a 100mm overall diameter and active area is 75mm. Other specs mentioned were 96db sensitivity and 14 ohm impedance.

It's a cool headphone. It can be used both open and closed. Just got them today.

Interesting to see redundant trances to maintain diaphragm consistency.
Really cool looking headphones.
Will you make any FR graphs?
