Interesting trace design for something that doesn't need cohesive length (Although from appearance they weren't going for that) for data timing, not sure what that Engineer was thinking. 

I can only guess they were trying to improve control over as much of the diaphragm surface area as possible.
Perhaps the goal was to keep as much 'active' area as possible as opposed to unpredictable 'passive' areas that may add negative 'sluggish' characteristics.

Mostly through drinking lots of coffee and checking ebay every 5 minutes instead of working.

One of the ones I have been dowsing for and I didn't have my hopes up. YAY

Although I've never seen the factory since it sits inside a MASSIVE chemical industrial estate that seems to have it's own border patrol.

Was going to post a picture of some Denon AH-D950 drivers, 50mm diamond evaporated...
but I opened these up and found a modding disaster from what I assume to be the previous owner. I could go on for a while about this but best to not....
