Can anybody guess what driver this image is from?
It is an inside view.
:)

Here is a nice view of the Sony MDR-Z7M2 2.76" HD aluminum-coated diaphragm.
I moved the center felt over to bottom for some more trebles.
The diagram really is noticable hard(to the touch), compare to average "poly" types.

Winner!

Those two variants only differ in the placement of the center resonator.
Image was a viewing angle from inside, hehe.

So long as you don't stick your quantum harmonizer inside your resonating chamber, otherwise you will cause a parabolic destabilization of the quantum universe. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Here is a nice looky at the planar membrane of the HEKV1 series.
Different iterations they used different black coating on those black horizontal bars, wich are the magnets.

Check out the "Ether" planar driver.

This one is booby-trapped, where the screws do not open the driver out of its baffle, and opening the unit is futile.
Dan is genius at that ha.
Loved the thin headband at the time.

Check out close up of Utopia ear chamber.

Driver is concealed from view, so as to not show the literal one inch of effective driver diaphragm.

This is a huge, huge (& in my opinion wasteful) motor magnet control of only a tiny diaphragm of what normally would be considered a bullet tweeter diaphragm.

Anyways, this is why you have a huge level of resolve.

Check out this nice baffle plate on this Denon mm400.

It has an optimal angled driver, which to me was more optimal than any ultrasone Edition series.
It had the newer & higher resolve type 40mm biocellulose drivers, but they ruined the signature with an overdone bassy/dull signature.

I always thought the drivers of planar magnetic headphones looked like ceramic heaters. And the first time I saw a set of speakers version of planar magnetic on Zeo's channel, they definitely looked strange lol.
