I think this is already SR tuning? At least the titanium tube is there so at least it is half SR. No one has any idea about the crossover network though I guess.

Went to Beijing to see family. Oh and also Jaben.
Titan universal paired with the TM2s. Finally an IEM that doesn’t hiss with it. Had to fiddle around with the fit, I prefer a shallow fit since the longer tips tend to misalign and clog sound. Not much to say about sound, haven’t been in it the hobby for a while, so I can’t describe it too accurately, but I’d say it complements my 335DW well. A little hot on the treble, but necessary to bring out the vocals a bit from where the 335DW left it recessed. I prefer female vocals on the Titans and male vocals on the 335s.
Fitear Monet17s.
I listen mainly to anisong, and I even popped some oldies like Gunbuster OP/Detective Conan. Not feeling it. Just way too thin and never hit when it needed to. Maybe I’m too used to how round and thick the 335 sound is. i wanted to like it...if not just for the mascot.
To Go 335! Premium was alright. But I had my 335s so I didn’t give it much thought. Liked the custom version better.
And so after all that I just walked out empty handed wishing that the Titan custom was available overseas...

Congrats on the Titans! So that’s why I didn’t hear ny hiss on the TM2s when I reviewed them - seems the Titans are insensitive to hiss.
The Titans are still my “end game”. Whilst I’ve heard other which are also nice, I feel less inclined to change and am satisfied with the Titans.

Can someone recommend a nice and not too expensive cable for 334? And also should I go balanced?

i re-terminated it to 2.5mm when i got my 335 to begin with since there are not so many available in the market to try.
i also bought the mmcx/cm to fitear converter to try other cables, but i do believe some reseller they do provide for trying

I don't think I can get along with the cable stiffness.

Don't you think the Titan is a bit low on volume while using with the TM2? The Air and Air 2 do the same for me too...
I wonder if the EST and DC would act similar or not, haven't gotten the chance to try them.

Hmm, I definitely don't listen to my music that loadly, so I've never had a problem with volume on the TM2.
In fact, I like how the Titans are harder to drive. It makes the notorious hiss on the TM2s not as noticeable (still there though).
My Fitear 335:
This would be my second Fitear (Fitear 334 is my first). How does it sound? I have no idea. My friend picked it up from the dealer this morning, Will be able to listen only this monday.
I love the 334.
The 334 was my first high-end in-ears. Instant love affair....love at first hear....addictive....and it was what propelled my journey through summitfi gears, culminating in the HE1 and the Erlkonig, among many others.
