10 hours is current battery life and will increase with the new firmware upgrade in the future,

No problem,...the battery life is a non-issue due to the ability to charge with a portable battery pack & listen at the same time. All bases are covered James.

Fast and honest response ara James one of the best talents but not the only ones of course.

Another issues need to mentioned is , we start to use battery with connector so you can buy a new battery from us when the battery died and not need to have any solder skill.

That is truly excellent. Is it something where we could carry a spare battery with us and swap it in on the fly, like I do with my E11? Or would we need to send the player back to you in a few years when the battery starts to run down?

not, it is not a replaceable battery like E11, you still need to open the case and replace it. it is difficult than E11 but easy than E17.

That's great news! No need to fret about wearing out the battery keeping it connected to the mobile charger then.

If X3 will sound few times better then Clip+ I think will have a winner.
Many people have the Clip+ Rockboxed and will buy this DAP.
I wish with the latest firmwares they can achive the 15 h playback time as Clip+ Rockboxed.
