Weird day -- thought pretty hard about the LCD 4's; even had them in the cart...but ended up buying a set of Sony MDR-Z1R's instead.

Honestly, I had been going back and forth in my mind for a long time on the Sony's vs the Denon ADH-9200's and I guess the thought of spending the extra $700 on the LCD 4 Refurbs made the Sony's seem like a 'bargain'?

That...and the ongoing praises from their loyal following...has me looking forward to hearing my music library on them -- especially given their sound signature! Really don't have a higher end set of closed cans like these.
