I just bought an open-box Arya from the HiFiMan store a few days ago (still en route) and I was not charged for shipping or tax. Even better, they offered a digital coupon code that I took advantage of for an extra $70 off. That particular promotion has ended, but that had been running similar coupons for several weeks prior to that, simply changing the sale name and particular code. So, if you've got some purchase in mind, it might be worth the wait to check on the Clearance Sales page from time to time to see if there is a new coupon code available.
Just got a new Ananda...no tax, free shipping, $59 off with 'limited59' code...$640 total.

What about the ER2XR? How come they don't slash the price like the other models?
My best guess is that it sells better so they don’t need to discount it as much.

Too bad I don't have any need for another IEM. I definitely would've tried the W80 at this price. IEMs just do not interest me anymore like HPs do.
Yeah...ended up pulling the trigger on the W80. Am more headphone centric as well but have snagged a couple really good IEM deals this year.
