Anyone knows whether the BestBuy Tidal deal would work if I had Tidal subscription in the past?
I tried, and it's didn't work for me. I had to activate with a new account on separate email.

Can you tell if that had to be a never-before-used e-mail address?NVM. I didn't see the activation email. I'm in now.

I used to have Tidal long ago, and wonder if I could use this deal or not...
I just grabbed this deal and it worked on my old/unsubbed Tidal account.
By the sounds of it that the others are having.. I am guessing it wont work or let you apply it to an already subscribed/active account, but only for unsubbed/inactive or new accounts.
So, if I pull the trigger, and cannot use the deal - can I get a refund from Best Buy??As far as I know, I think if you have ever taken advantage of any Tidal subscription sale you cannot use that email address for any newer deals.
Not the case for this deal. It can be a previously used email, as long as it isn't currently active. As far as I know, I think if you have ever taken advantage of any Tidal subscription sale you cannot use that email address for any newer deals.
I received a reply from Tidal customer support. Signing up for the Best Buy one-year subscription requires using an inactive account, or creating a new account. Not the case for this deal. It can be a previously used email, as long as it isn't currently active.
I've opened a customer support ticket with Tidal about this issue. The limitation isn't mentioned on either the Best Buy site or the FAQ page on Tidal, and as a policy it doesn't make sense.

For myself, I plan to cancel my current monthly subscription (it will remain active for a couple of more weeks until my renewal date) and then reuse the same account for the one-year deal.
It's already expired for the $100 price; back up to $120. The $120 annual seems to be readily available through partnership with Best Buy.Will the one -year deal via Best Buy still be available then if you wait?
Looks like the July 4th summer sale @ Hifiman has started.
