Lol I was setting in my desk when I got the deal, yeah I agreed the Red version is more sexy, I auditioned the green one in the Fostex Both at NAMM in L.A. couple months ago it doesn't looks that good as the red one, btw I owned the Red ones and looks much better that it sound, those highs were so painful .

Yeah, me too! I was checking my email when it popped up. LOL

Maybe the green one looks better in person. I know I wasn't impressed by the red TH900 until I saw it in real life. There's a lot of depth and subtlety to the color that gets washed out in photos. That blue one looks straight-up gorgeous though.

Regarding the highs, I've heard some with MrSpeakers Doggie Treats foam filters in them and it tamed the highs nicely. Took some sizzle out of them.
