Philips Fidelio X2HR, the slight update from the beloved X2/27, at Musician's Friend for $200 down from $300:
https://www.musiciansfriend.com/consumer-electronics/philips-fidelio-x2hr-hi-res-headphones

My understanding is there was a slight change to the earpads and they added the words "High Resolution" to the cups with the HR version. FYI the pre-HR European (X2/00) version is available from Amazon Spain at 55% off, and if you live in the US you don't have to pay VAT, and you can log in to Amazon Spain with your US Amazon account. Price works out to be 131.40 EUR and AmazonGlobal Standard shipping is 16.82 EUR for me (east coast US) so total is 148.22 EUR. Amazon shows an exchange rate right now of 1 EUR = 1.226001 USD, so $181.72 total shipped at the moment. Link:

Is there an easy way to compare prices for a product across the different Amazons?
So that if Amazon Spain is cheaper than Amazon UK or US - it would pop up?
Doing so manually is not practical... I did in the past buy an item from Amazon UK and Amazon Japan, and saved a bunch of money compared to Amazon in the USA!

FYI, the inexpensive/good-sounding Chinese closed-back design, the Marantz MPH-2, is F.S. on Musiciansfriend.com for $49.99 (probably the best price we'll see for this headphone):
https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro...-studio-headphones/j33425000000000?src=3XBACR

FYI, this headphone is one of 5 or 6 clones (near identlcal re-licenses) of the original ISK MDH9000. I've owned 4 of the clones
  • 2 MPH-2s (gave one as gift; kept the other)
  • 1 LyxPro HAS-30 (gave as a gift)]
  • and 1 Akai Professional 50X + HAS-30 pads (currently evaluating/comparing this to stock MPH-2s for review to be posted on Head-Fi).

The MPH-2s are my favorite of the clones...IMO very handsome design/colors.

The new Beyerdynamic Aventho Bluetooth Wireless On-Ear Headphones are on sale at Newegg FLASH for $300 (down from $450 elsewhere) with promo code NEFPSJD150
Link is to the black ones, but I think NEF also has the brown.

Not noise canceling, this is a Tesla phone aimed at sound quality (lots of the best Bluetooth Codecs) and style. An interesting feature is the companion MIY Android /IOS app that allows you to make personalized adjustments to the sound based on your demographics, preferences, and a hearing test.

Sadly, the MIY app seems in its early buggy stages, horrible reviews on Google Play Store. But just as sadly the personalization apparently only works when you are using the app. I was hoping the Aventho could memorize the personalized settings to get the benefits on any source.

Nonetheless looks like a good price as Amazon and others have been pretty steady at the $450 price.
